NUST Aggregate Calculator

Enter percentages from your official marksheet or equivalence certificate. Select the closest matching admission route to display its formula.

Estimate only. This result does not confirm eligibility or admission. Current prospectus, program criteria, campus rules, category and equivalence decisions of NUST take precedence.

How the NUST Aggregate Is Calculated

NUST’s NET-based undergraduate formula is 75% NET, 15% HSSC and 10% SSC. NUST School of Health Sciences MBBS uses a separate published formula; confirm the applicable MDCAT and academic requirements for your admission session.

NUST merit can depend on the admission route, school and degree. NET uses different paper categories for different programs, but the standard national NET merit formula shown here uses a 75/15/10 split. The MBBS route is listed separately because NUST School of Health Sciences publishes a distinct MDCAT-based merit formula. Enter the best valid NET result if the current admission policy permits multiple attempts; always follow the official application instructions.

How to Use the Calculator

  1. Select the degree group and qualification route that matches your application.
  2. Enter each score as a percentage from 0 to 100. To convert raw marks, divide marks obtained by total marks and multiply by 100.
  3. Press Calculate aggregate to see the weighted contribution of each score.
  4. Check the official admission notice for the same intake before making an application decision.

Eligibility and Merit Are Different

Eligibility is the minimum academic background and score required to apply. Aggregate is the weighted merit score used to compare eligible applicants. Reaching an eligibility threshold does not guarantee selection. Merit can vary by degree, campus, admission category, available seats and year.

Important Qualification Notes

  • Use the Part-I or completed-result marks specified for the selected route.
  • For A-Level or another foreign qualification, use the official IBCC equivalence percentage where required. Do not convert grades yourself.
  • Some degrees have interviews, aptitude tests, subject prerequisites or separate selection formulas not included in this calculator.
  • Where a route is not listed, do not assume one of these formulas applies. Consult the admission office or latest prospectus.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does NUST use one formula for every undergraduate degree?

The published general NET formula applies across many undergraduate programs, but admission routes and some schools or degrees have separate rules. Select the route shown in this calculator and verify the exact program’s current prospectus.

Does the NET subject paper change the aggregate weight?

The NET paper type varies by program. The general NET-based merit weight remains 75% NET, 15% HSSC and 10% SSC according to the linked NUST criteria.

Is this result a guarantee of admission?

No. It is an estimate of the weighted score. Eligibility, program preferences, merit position and available seats determine admission.
